Abbott appoints Shelly Botkin to PUC

Governor Greg Abbott appointed Shelly Botkin to the Public Utility Commission of Texas. Her term expires September 1, 2019. ERCOT Board approves transmission project in West Texas

The ERCOT Board of Directors endorsed on June 14, 2017, a transmission project that includes two new 345-kV lines to help address future reliability concerns in the growing region of Far West Texas.

ERCOT accepts Denton County & Celina/Prosper project for RPG review

ERCOT accepted a proposed project in the Northeast Denton County and Celina/Prosper area. Brazos Electric Cooperative (BEC) and Rayburn Country Electric Cooperative (RCEC) jointly submitted the project for Regional Planning Group (RPG) review and comment.
